Images and Observation Reports: Intense Thunderstorms: 8 May 2014 15h00 - 19h00

Yesterday SAWXREP recommended that the public be on the lookout for severe weather in the W/Cape, Southern and Eastern Cape and to forward reports to @SAWXREP.  The following reports were posted iro intense thunderstorms and hail in the Southern Cape.

Gale force wind (50 - 64 km/h) is already recorded by two ocean weather buoys. Weather buoys are located near 34 Deg Lat and 18 Deg Long.
