WARNINGS: Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the
central interior of the Northern Cape and eastern interior of
the Western Cape Province.

SPECIAL WEATHER ADVISORIES: Very hot and dry weather will result in extremely uncomfortable
conditions in places over the central interior of the Northern
Cape and Central Karoo.
MSBWX National Severe Weather Observations: Isolated thunderstorms with strong gusty winds were experienced yesterday in parts of the Gauteng and Mpumalanga Provinces.

MSBWX General Weather Observations: Cool, warm to hot conditions expected today over parts of SA. Thunderstorms can be expected in parts of Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West, Northern Cape, Free State and Kwazulu Natal. Isolated rain showers can be expected in parts of the Eastern Cape. Drizzle and fog patches can be expected in parts of Mpumalanga and Limpopo early this morning.

of the Eastern Cape and over the western parts of KwaZulu-Natal.
2. Heavy falls of rain are expected in places over the eastern
parts of the Free State

MSBWX National Severe Weather Observations: Yesterday severe weather was observed in parts of Gauteng, Free State, Eastern Cape and Kwazulu Natal. Reports were received of hail, intense lightning, dust storms and very strong wind. No reports of any damage thus far. MSBWX General Weather Observations: Cool, warm to hot conditions expected today over parts of SA. Thunderstorms can be expected in parts of Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West, Northern Cape, Free State, Eastern Cape and Kwazulu Natal. The Western Cape can expect isolated showers in the west, spreading to the south coast in the afternoon. Keep an eye out for severe thunderstorms with strong wind and possible large hail in areas of the country. We are once again in for some interesting weather. An upper air trough over the interior and a cut-off low south of the country may just bring severe weather. So let's keep an eye on the weather for the next two days.
