Meduim to heavy rain forecast for parts of the Southern Cape Area (28 - 30 January 2014)
Current forecast models indicate the possibility of medium to heavy rain for parts of the Southern Cape from the 28 - 30 January 2014. An upper trough is expected to move in over the Southern Cape accompanied by tropical moist air from Namibia. There is thus the possibility of instability which could result in thunderstorms in parts of the Western- , Southern Cape and Karoo.
PLEASE NOTE: It is early predictions and conditions can still change in the next 72 hours.. We need to keep an eye on the development of this system in the next few days!
