MOSSEL BAY REAL TIME WEATHER OBSERVATION:   07h00 - Beautiful day with a hint of autumn in the air. Currently 1/8  cloud. No wind.  21 Deg/C.   
1 mm of light rain recorded at Heiderand, Mossel Bay overnight.

WEATHER FORECAST: WESTERN CAPE

Cloudy along the coast at first otherwise fine and warm. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south - easterly becoming strong in the afternoon.

DISASTER OBSERVATION: WESTERN CAPE

The latest information indicate that all fires that were burning yesterday were under control.  The fierce Cape Point fire was extinguished. Fire fighters were however monitoring all burnt areas for flare ups and hot spots.  A big thank you to all who contribute in which ever way to help extinguish the spate of fires in the Western Cape.
