WARNINGS: Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the central and eastern parts of the Northern Cape, the Central Karoo of the Western Cape, as well as the north - western parts of the Eastern Cape.

MOSSEL BAY REAL TIME WEATHER OBSERVATION:   07h50 -  Currently 8/8  cloud. Light SW wind.  21 Deg/C. No Rain.  (Note: Strong WSW wind blew during the night.  Subsided this morning)

WEATHER FORECAST: WESTERN CAPE
Hot in places over the eastern interior, otherwise fine and warm, but cool along the south and south - west coasts with light rain along the south coast, clearing from the west in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south - westerly. The expected UVB sunburn index: Extreme

DISASTER OBSERVATION: WESTERN CAPE

Another fire started in the Jonkershoek Reserve yesterday afternoon and from the images received looked to be a large fire.  All resources were in attendance to fight the fire.
