SPECIAL WEATHER ADVISORIES: Hot and humid weather will result in extremely uncomfortable
conditions over the north-eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal, as
well as the Lowveld of Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
MSBWX National Severe Weather Observations: Isolated thunderstorms were observed yesterday in areas of SA. Mossel Bay experienced a "Mini" Cloud Burst with 18mm of rain measured in Heiderand fallign in jsut under 15 minutes. (Photos to be uploaded later)
MSBWX General Weather Observations: Cool and Warm to hot conditions expected today over parts of SA. Thunderstorms and rain showers can be expected in parts of Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Eastern Cape and Kwazulu Natal. Light rain expected in areas of the Western Cape clearing later today.
MSBWX National Disaster Observations: Several fires were burning in parts of the Western Cape yesterday. Please be careful around open fires, throwing away cigarette butts and equipment that can start a fire. Be fire wise!
