SAWS SEVERE WEATHER ALERTS:
WARNINGS: Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Cape
Metropole, Cape Winelands, West Coast District and Overberg of
the Western Cape as well as central and western parts of the
Northern Cape.
WATCHES: Severe thunderstorms are possible in places over the western parts
of KwaZulu-Natal, the north-eastern Free State, extreme south-eastern
parts of Gauteng and in places over the southern Mpumalanga Highveld.
SPECIAL WEATHER ADVISORIES: Extremely hot and dry weather will result in extremely
uncomfortable conditions over the West Coast District and in places
over the interior of the Western Cape Province today(Saturday).

Drizzle can be expected over the escarpment of Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces.
