Shortly after 13:00 this afternoon Mr Hans Potgieter, one of the most experienced pilots in Mossel Bay was forced to make an emergency landing with a light aircraft in a field just outside of town on the Herbertsdale road.
Both Mr Potgieter and his wife, Sharon were taken by ambulance to a local hospital and is said to be doing well.
