The SA Weather and Disaster Observation Service (SAWDOS) and SA Weather and Disaster Information Service (SAWDIS) once the best weather and disaster observation blogs are still actively visited by visitors each day although given the fact that both these blogs are not being updated anymore. As the owner and founder of both these blogs it is hart warming and astonishing to see the daily statistics of people visiting these blogs. On the other hand I receive regular requests to grant permission for use of articles in educational mediums ranging from schools to universities or for general use. Unfortunately I am not the owner of some of the content published in these blogs making it difficult to grant permission to use certain articles. Be as it may both SAWDOS and SAWDIS blogs are a great source for past weather and disaster observation information. I trust that both these blogs will remain great sources that will still be used for educational and historical purposes in the future.
