SAWS SEVERE WEATHER ALERTS:
WARNINGS: ------Nil
WATCHES: 1. Severe thunderstorms are expected over the north-eastern part
of the Eastern Cape and over the western parts of KwaZulu-Natal.
2. Heavy falls of rain are expected in places over the eastern
parts of the Free State.

MSBWX National Severe Weather Observations: Yesterday severe weather was observed in parts of Free State, Eastern Cape and Kwazulu Natal. Bloemfontein experience flash flooding as a result of a heavy downpour. Several roads and parks were flooded. Reports were received of hail, intense lightning, dust storms and very strong wind in Kwazulu Natal and the NE Cape. No reports of any damage thus far. MSBWX General Weather Observations: Cool, warm to hot conditions expected today over parts of SA. Thunderstorms can be expected in parts of Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West, Northern Cape, Free State, Eastern Cape and Kwazulu Natal. The Western Cape can expect isolated showers in places. Keep an eye out for severe thunderstorms with strong wind and possible large hail in areas of the country.
