SAWS SEVERE WEATHER ALERTS: 

WARNINGS: -----Nil  

WATCHES: Severe thunderstorms with damaging wind and large hail is expected over Free State, North-West, western and southern Gauteng, western and south-western KwaZulu-Natal as well as the northern and eastern Eastern Cape. Localised flash flooding is expected in places over the above mentioned areas.

MSBWX General Weather Observations: Cool, warm to hot conditions expected today over parts of SA. Upper air trough is expected to bring in moisture an unstable conditions over parts of the country that could result in severe weather in areas today and tomorrow morning. Thunderstorms can be expected in parts of  Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West, Free State, Northern Cape, Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Kwazulu Natal. Keep an eye out for severe thunderstorms with strong wind and possible large hail. Flooding can be expected in areas.
