detected over the past 24 hours in South Africa. Please contact your nearest fire fighting

observed. The earlier a fire is detected to better the chances of
extinguishing the fire.
MSBWX General Weather Observations: Cool, warm to very
hot
conditions expected today over parts of SA. Isolated thundershowers
expected over parts of the Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West and Free State. Estimated rainfall 1- 20mm expected in areas. Light rain expected over the south western high grounds of Kwazulu Natal.
MSBWX National Disaster Observations:An estimated 2 000 people have been displaced after a fire at the Kya
Sands informal settlement destroyed about 500 shacks on Thursday,
Johannesburg emergency services said.
