National Severe Weather Observations:   Thunderstorms and light rain observed over parts of the Free State and Northern Cape.  Beware of lightning!  Thunderstorms and light rain expected this afternoon and evening in the Free State and Northern Cape with light rain in parts of Kwazulu Natal.

National Disaster Observations:  Aftershocks is expected to continue for the next few days in the Orkney and Klerksdorp areas.  The intensity of aftershocks may vary.
