Update 2: Cold Front: South Africa (3 - 6 June 2014)
The satellite images below
show
the cold front currently over the central parts of the
country. Snow, sleet, ice rain and hail are still falling over parts of the Western, Southern, Northern and Eastern Cape. The same conditions is expected tonight and tomorrow morning in areas of the Free State, Eastern Cape, KZN, Lesotho and the Drakensberg. It is going to be very cold over large parts of the country tonight and tomorrow morning. So take the necessary precautions and if you going to travel in areas where these conditions prevail ensure that you have enough warm clothing, food, water and blankets should something unforeseen happens. Please keep in contact with your next of kin on a regular basis should you need help. Remember the roads are wet, slippery and dangerous under the current conditions.
