UPDATE 1: Approaching Cold Front: Western-, Southern and Eastern Cape (24 - 25 May 2014)

Apart from a strong NNW wind and a flash of lightning here and there not much has come of this cold front.  This system produced very little rain and the expected cold weather was not as bad as expected. Mild weather is forecast for the next two days.  The weather is expected to change on Wednesday with rain forecast for parts of the Western Cape.  This image of lightning was captured on Blouberg beach.
