This cold front looks fairly impressive.. There is a high pressure system to the west of the country that is currently ridging in between the cold front and the land. As mentioned before this cold front might just brush the Western- (Overberg), Southern- and Eastern Cape coastal regions bringing with it some light to moderate (1- 10mm) rain on Tuesday and Wednesday. However I am of the opinion that this front must not be underestimated. We might just be in for a surprise. There is still ample time for this cold front to turn into severe weather. It all depends on the high pressure system whether it will allow the cold front free movement. Let's keep a constant eye on the movement and intensity of this system.
