19h30 SAST - Snowreport.co.za report snowfall on the Matroosberg Mountains near Ceres.

18H50 SAST - Heavy rain now falling in the Mossel Bay area. Break in DSTV as a result of the heavy rain in the Mossel Bay area.

18h00 SAST - Freezing level in the Ceres area = 2050 m. Snow forecast level = 2229 m. Anybody know if there is snow on the Ceres mountains? Going to be a cold and wet night in some areas of the Western-, Eastern- and Northern Cape. Minus temperatures expected in areas.

16H30 SAST - Snow and hail possible in areas of the Western and Eastern Cape tonight. Just returned from a RTWO trip. Rapid drop in temperature!  Freezing Level 2200 m in Mossel Bay. Snow, hail or ice rain expected in parts of the Western and Southern Cape.
