The first photo, an aerial photo of the flooding in Meiringspoort on the Oudtshoorn Courant Facebook page, was viewed over an astonishing 27 600 times. The photo was also shared by over 476 users.
On the George Herald Facebook page, the same photo was viewed over 29 500 times and shared by over 522 users.
A dramatic photo of a tornado (funnel cloud) near Calitzdorp was viewed over 12 600 times on the George Herald facebook page, and over 11 700 times on the Oudtshoorn Courant's page. The photo was shared by over 500 users.
