WX WATCH: A cold front is currently brushing past the Southern Cape coastal area, interacting with moist air from the sub tropics. This interaction makes conditions conducive for the development of possible widespread thunderstorm activity inland. Heavy rain (total20 - 25mm), heaviest during Sunday night is forecast for the Southern Cape/Garden Route Area . Very mild temperatures (max 19°C on Sunday morning, min 13°C on Monday night). Wind will be generally light. Between the 19th and the 21st a cut-off low might develop offshore along the Southern/Eastern Cape, Kwazulu Natal coast. MSBWX will monitor the possible formation of a cut-off low and will provide updates if necessary.
