SEVERE WEATHER ALERTS:
 
WARNINGS: Heavy rain leading to flashing flooding is expected over the eastern parts of the Eastern Cape.

WATCHES: 1. Heavy rain leading to flash flooding is expected along the coast of the Eden District of the Western Cape from this evening. 2. Severe thunderstorms are expected over the western interior of the Eastern Cape.

MOSSEL BAY REAL TIME WEATHER OBSERVATION:  

07h30 -  7/8 Cloud. Light breeze.  19 Deg/C. Altocumulus clouds visible towards the Outeniqua Mountains. Heavy rain/flash flooding possible over parts of the Little Karoo and Southern Cape later today.

WEATHER FORECAST: WESTERN CAPE:

Warm in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but cloudy in the east at first, spreading to the south coast and adjacent interior from the afternoon, where isolated to scattered showers are expected. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south - westerly, but fresh to strong southerly to south - easterly along the west and south - west coasts, spreading to the south coast by the evening.
