SPECIAL WEATHER ADVISORIES: 1. Frost is expected over the extreme north - eastern parts parts of the Eastern Cape and southern Free State this morning and Friday. 2. Light snowfalls are expected on the high peaks of the north - western and central mountains of the Eastern Cape as well as the highlying areas of the southern cape on Thursday morning.

MOSSEL BAY REAL TIME WEATHER OBSERVATION:  

07h00 -  7/8 Cloud.  No Wind.  9 Deg/C. Light rain overnight. Coldest night of 2015.  Winter made its first appearance.

WEATHER FORECAST: WESTERN CAPE:

Fine and cool over the western parts otherwise cloudy and cold with isolated showers and rain in the east becoming scattered along the south coast. Light snowfalls are expected on the highlying areas of the Southern Cape in the morning. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south - easterly but south - westerly along the south coast at first. The expected UVB sunburn index: Moderate
