SEVERE WEATHER ALERTS: 
 
WARNINGS: Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Central and Little Karoo of the Western Cape, southern central parts of the Northern Cape and western interior of the Eastern Cape.

WATCHES: -----Nil

SPECIAL WEATHER ADVISORIES: Hot and humid weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions over the south - western interior of the Eastern Cape as well as in places over the Karoo region of the Western Cape. 

Mossel Bay Real Time Weather Observation:  07h30 -  The smell of smoke hanging in the air this morning over Mossel Bay.  Risk of veld fires in the Mossel Bay area still high this morning. Currently 3/8 cloud. WSW wind blowing at 8km/h. 27 Deg/C. No rain

WEATHER FORECAST: WESTERN CAPE

Cool along the south - west coast, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in east and along the south coast.It will be cloudy in places in the west, spreading to the east by the afternoon. The wind a long the coast will be moderate to fresh north - westerly along the west and south - west coast in morning, otherwise moderate to fresh westerly to south - westerly, but strong south of Cape Point. The expected UVB sunburn index: Very High
