SPECIAL WEATHER ADVISORIES: Heat wave conditions with persistently high temperatures are expected over Gauteng and North - West Province.
MSBWX National Severe Weather Observations: Heat wave conditions observed yesterday in Gauteng and the North West Province with temperatures rising well past the 35 Deg/C.
MSBWX General Weather Observations: Cool, warm to very hot conditions expected today over parts of SA. Thunderstorms and rain showers can be expected in parts of Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West, Free State, Northern Cape and Kwazulu Natal. Heatwave conditions with persistently high temperatures are expected over the North - West Province and the Gauteng Province.
MSBWX National Disaster Observations: Veld fires are burning again in parts of SA. 2 large fires were burning in Gordons Bay and Signal Hill yesterday afternoon and evening. Further fires are expected as hot weather continues over many parts of the country. Please be careful around open fires, throwing away of cigarette butts and equipment that can start a fire. Be fire wise!
