WARNINGS: Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the West
Coast District and Cape Metropole of the Western Cape.
WATCHES: Severe thunderstorms with possible hail, damaging winds and heavy
rain is expected over the eastern parts of the Northwest Province,
south-western Limpopo, Gauteng, northeastern part of the
Free State as well as on the Mpumalanga highveld and escarpment

MSBWX General Weather Observations: Cool, warm to hot conditions expected today over parts of SA. Isolated thunderstorms can be expected in parts of the Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North West, Free State, Northern Cape, Kwazulu Natal and Eastern Cape. Light showers can be expected in parts of the Western Cape and Eastern Cape while drizzle is expected this morning over the escarpment of Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
