1. Gale force wind and rough seas still active along parts of the coastal areas of the Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Southern Kwazulu Natal. Very rough seas with wave heights from 6 to 9m predicted.
2. The risk of veld fires
is still high in many parts of the country. Current observations
indicate that the veld are very dry in many areas and that strong to
gale force winds are blowing in areas. These
conditions could and did leed to runaway veld fires. Fires detected

Please report any veld fires to your nearest Fire Fighting Unit, Fire
Station or Working on Fire. MSBWX advise that people should refrain
from making open fires during these conditions.
