SEVERE WEATHER ALERTS:
 
WARNINGS: Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in places over the Central Karoo.

WATCHES: Severe thunderstorms are expected over the south western parts of Kwa - Zul u Natal and the north western parts of Eastern Cape.

SPECIAL WEATHER ADVISORIES:------Nil

MOSSEL BAY REAL TIME WEATHER OBSERVATION:  

06h35 -  No cloud. No wind.  20 Deg/C. Autumn is creeping closer and closer.

WEATHER FORECAST: WESTERN CAPE:

Cloudy and warm with early morning fog patches along the west and south west coast, otherwise fine and warm to hot over the interior. It will bec ome cloudy along the south coast with isolated showers and rain in the evening. The wind along the coast will be moderate fresh south to south - westerly along the south coast, but moderate north westerly along the west coast. The expected UVB sunburn Index : Extreme

DISASTER OBSERVATION: WESTERN CAPE:

The Jonkershoek Reserve fire is still burning.  The wind decreased in strength last night that enabled the fire fighters to bring the fire under control.
